My Story
I have been with Scentsy for over 4 years now. I first found Scentsy after I almost burned my house down when I forgot to blow out a Yankee candle…. it wasn’t the first time either. My husband said no more. So I went for about 6 months with no scent in my home. One day I saw a Scentsy booth and bought a warmer and some wax and was hooked! I loved it! My home smelled wonderful and it was safe. No flames, soot, or lead, what’s not to love? After about a year of being a customer I decided to stop being silly and take the plunge and become a consultant. I was worried if I could actually do this since I was not a salesman and by nature am a little on the shy side. What I found was that by sharing Scentsy with my friends and family, they loved it too! Once people see and smell it they are sold. It really is a wonderful quality product that I can be proud of selling. Before Scentsy, I was a stay at home mom to two wonderful girls and wife to hard working husband. While being a stay at home mom is a big enough job in itself, I always wanted to be financially helping. Also, I wanted something for me, that was not a part of being Mom and Wife. Since I joined Scentsy I have been amazed and humbled by the personal growth I have achieved as well as my amazing team of woman and men! I have been able to go on amazing trips (hello Costa Rica, Cancun, Cozamel, and Disney World!) and contribute financially to our family. This was really important to me. I'm not just 'Mom' and 'Wife' any more. I'm a woman who has found what she has to give to others, who has found self worth. I've gained amazing friends who've changed my life. To this day it floors me that something called 'Scentsy' could do that for me.
